I spent my week-off for spring break in Florida with my youth group doing a Christian service trip—basically picking up fruit that would otherwise go to waste and donating it to hunger ministries. Toward the end of the week, the focus shifted (intentionally) to a vacation. On Thursday, we had intended to visit the Kennedy Space Center. Boy, were we in for a surprise.
Antzoid is my on-again-off-again comic strip character in the form of a giant ant. According to some stories he was a space ant, according to others he was a radioactive ant, but whatever the source of his bigness he was always darn weird. This version of his site was developed in 2000, and I’m always giving thought to starting the strip back up again (but never seriously). None of the original comics are actually in the site, and any rekindlings will be back on the random page (unless it becomes a pattern and he gets his OWN page!)
Good morning, my name’s Scott Bradford. As many of you may have heard by now, I’m from Bedford—about 30 miles that-a-way (point)—but I attend youth group here at Lane [Memorial United Methodist Church]. It’s a pleasure, as always, to be speaking to you this morning.

You know what? We live in Virginia. Not just in Virginia, but in the mountains. Snow is a reality; it is a 100 percent normal part of our environment. Yet, for some odd reason, we still remain totally unprepared for it.
Scott Bradford is a writer and technologist who has been putting his opinions online since 1995. He believes in three inviolable human rights: life, liberty, and property.
