Wedding Planning; Dvorak Progress; etc.

Wow, I’ve been slacking on the posting lately, haven’t I?

Wedding planning has been moving along reasonably well (which is good, given that there’s only 50 days of bachelorhood left). The rings came in to Kay the other day, and we’re getting the engraving (and Melissa’s resizing; mine was special-ordered in the right size) done now. There’s a bit of upheaval with both the rehearsal dinner and Reception II: The Bedford Reception (long stories, explain later), and there’s one more run of invitations to do, but it’s all moving forward.

Website 16.1 Revision

Well, now that I’ve got the poetry section live, I finally got to make some of the site-wide tweaks that I’ve been wanting to make for a few months. I’ve put some effort into eliminating needless empty space, compressing the main menus, improving consistency (like the gray trim-lines in the header), and generally making things look classier.

Poetry Section Returns!

The completely revamped poetry section of Off on a Tangent is now available. As many of you are aware, I completely removed the poetry section when I released Website 16 (the current version) because I wanted to make some significant improvements to it rather than spending a lot of time porting the old, out-of-date organization to the Mambo CMS.
