Watches and Timepieces

Some time around the year 2020, I started getting interested in watches . . . not just the modern smartwatch, but also the classic wristwatch. I find time fascinating. I find the machines that we use to measure time even more fascinating.

Things quickly spiraled out of control, and my watch collection now contains a variety of mechanical watches (both manual and automatic) and quartz watches (analog and digital, solar and battery). My collection is described below.

I usually wear a smartwatch or fitness tracker on my right wrist, and a traditional watch on my left.

Wearable Technology

Anything more complicated than a plain digital watch counts as “wearable technology” in my book, including smartwatches and fitness trackers.
